Sara & Martyn chose The Ravenswood for their chic and relaxed wedding day. It’s always beautiful there, but when the lakes and gardens are bathed in soft Spring sunshine, you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere that looks or feels more romantic.
Sara opted for a striking monochrome theme (we love her white wedding dress with black accessories- and the matching black and white vintage car), and her bridesmaids looked beautiful in shades of soft pastel green. Simple white bouquets and buttonieres added to the laid back glamour of the bridal party’s outfits.
Sara & Martyn planned a simple, intimate ceremony with a small group of family and friends, followed by a sumptuous wedding breakfast and then drinks on the lawns whilst the sun set. The result? A day which was elegant, understated and oh-so lovely. Much like the couple themselves.
Geoff & Becky understood everything that we wanted out of our wedding photography, and shared fantastic ideas with us for our day. The engagement shoot was a lovely way to get to know how Geoff works, and it was great fun working with him before the day. Whilst he is taking pictures, Geoff makes you feel very comfortable and after a while you forgot he is there (sorry Geoff)!! This was great as all of our photos looked so natural. On our wedding day, the list of photos which we wanted was pre arranged and organised very well between Geoff and Becky within the time frame we had. Geoff is always happy to discuss any ideas which you may have to make your day even more special, and our wedding photos were put on line within two weeks so we were lucky enough to watch the slideshow whilst on our honeymoon. Thanks so much, Geoff & Becky, for all your help throughout the planning and the day.
We’re very proud to be The Ravenswood’s Recommended Wedding Photographer, and you can see lots more gorgeous Ravenswood weddings that Geoff has photographed here.
